Ah, the holidays. Last week we hosted friends from out of town, and had thirteen around the Thanksgiving table. In fewer than two weeks, we’re having more than 150 in our home for my wife’s holiday work party. Then on December 22, I’m traveling 750 miles, north into the snow, with four teenagers for Christmas.
Suffice it to say… it is a busy time of year.
So, with all this going on I figured, why not commit to two different live storytelling events in one week?
That’s right, this week I am performing three times at two different events. If you are in Charlotte NC, I enthusiastically encourage you to come out to at least one and maybe all. The details are below:
Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at NoDa Brewing Company, a benefit for Prevent Child Abuse North Carolina:
Five talented local storytellers will share parenting stories from different perspectives. Be prepared to laugh and cry while enjoying a beverage or two.
Friday, November 30 & Saturday December 1, 2018 at Camp North End 8:00, the latest Showcase from Charlotte Storytellers:
Come on out to hear tales from eight of Charlotte’s best “spinners of yarn.” It will be an emotional roller coaster you won’t soon forget. It’s a mere $5 at the door – that’s only $0.63 per story – better than any Black Friday or Cyber Monday deal.
I am performing at both events with different stories for each. So, come on out… you’ll be glad you did.
For my out of town audience, there will be video at some point, so be patient.
