This story illustrates the value in keeping your commitments. The challenge at the end of this chapter was:
Think about the commitments you make, especially in relation to your intent to keep them. If someone invites out with a group for drinks, don’t say, “I’ll try and get there” if you have no plans to do so.
If you make a time commitment of any kind, deliver it early. And here’s the best one: try and be early to every appointment and meeting you have this week. If a meeting starts late, you won’t be the cause, and that is a good feeling the just might rub off on others.
Do you have a story about keeping a commitment? It can be about you or someone else, all you have to do is tell us what happened.
